Annual golf tournament is good for young hearts
Montreal (QC) – Houston Avenue Bar & Grill at Square Victoria in the Old-Port of Montreal and the Houston location in the Quartier Dix30 in Brossard held their annual golf tournament Monday September 29, 2014 at Club de golf Napierville.
The tournament raised a total of $6,800 which went to the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation in support of the Cardiology Team of surgeon Dr. Nancy Poirier. “A member of our team here at Houston has been directly affected by a child with a severe heart condition who is treated by Dr. Poirier and we felt it was an excellent cause in support of our colleague and of all children attained by heart disease” says Daniel Marinelli, Director and Co-Owner of Houston at Square Victoria and Brossard.
Golfers were treated to a delicious breakfast spread in the morning and each received private VIP limousine service to and from the golf course. “Our golf tournaments are filled with food, fun and drinks and we wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves without worrying about the drive back” mentions Marco Marinelli, Co-Owner of Houston at Square Victoria and Brossard.
After the fun-filled day of golf, players were treated to an exquisite dinner filled with activities and prizes at the Houston in Dix30. All in all a great day in great company! For more information on the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation, please visit www.fondation-sainte-justine.org/en/.
